Thinking about changing your SMSF to SMSFlive? There are 5 steps in the process.
Before Changing
Consider when you would like to change and if it is at the end.
the financial year then this is no problem as you can change at any time of the year. SMSFlive can take care of the whole process for you - from start to finish. We can liaise with your current provider and take care of all of the paperwork for a seamless transition.

You are in control of the bank account and stockbroker you prefer to use so nothing will change here. You can also continue to use your existing financial adviser. No matter what your circumstances you continue to retain full control of your super as we work on helping you make the change to SMSFlive.
At SMSFlive we take advantage of data streaming from banks and share registries to keep your SMSF reporting up to date so you can track your super in real-time no matter what device - anywhere and anytime.
Step 1: Signup online
Simply Start Application on line on the www.smsflive.com.au via our online application form that should take about 5 minutes to complete. We will contact you and do the rest.
Step 2: Welcome Pack
We will forward to you our welcome pack including your welcome letter and sign up form. The sign up forms include the bank data feed authority form so your bank can start to provide us with transaction information to help us keep your financial information up to date.
We will also provide you with a checklist of the fund documentation we need you to send to us, either in hard copy or via email. The types of documents we will need (but not all) to effect the transition include:
- The SMSF trust deed
- All minutes of meetings and trustee resolutions
- Most recent set of audited financial statements
- Current year transaction history and documentation
- Any copies of term deposits not yet matured
If you are transitioning from another SMSF specialist Administrator, they should be able to provide all of this information to you quite simply.
Step 3: Reconciliation of your fund
SMSFlive uses data feeds and data automation to keep your super up to date and reconciled. We will start to receive information as soon as the data starts to flow through to SMSFlive. Then we can start to get your SMSF up to date and live.
However, there are instances where we may not see some transaction and so we may contact you for further clarification.
Step 4: Login Setup
Once we have your financial set up we will then contact you to help set up your login.
Your email address is your login name and you can enter your existing password to log in or select forgot password to change your password just select forgot password.
One of the SMSFlive onboarding team will contact you to help you log in via your desktop computer. They will also show you how to download the APP from the Apple Store or Google Play so you can also login using your mobile device.
Step 5: Online access to your SMSF
Your SMSF transaction we will reconcile and processed on a regular basis to ensure you are up to date.
You can check your super performance to help you make better decisions about your investments or to check how much you can contribute or withdrawn from super if you are in pension phase.
